The Arts

We are proud supporters of Cleveland’s vibrant Arts scene: theatre, dance, music, and the visual arts.

Education

The support of education--at all levels-- is very important to us. We have provided grants to schools and colleges, as well as adult education programs.

Public Affairs

Mr. Eaton prized the free and open exchange of ideas and airing of views. Accordingly, we have supported organizations which encourage public debate and interaction.

Conservation and Restoration

Our efforts in these two areas have helped to preserve treasured Cleveland landmarks and vital natural areas in Northeast Ohio.

Health and Social Welfare

Particularly in these times, our support is crucial to organizations that enhance healthcare and level the playing field for the disadvantaged. Our support is mainly for  non-mainstream organizations which fill needed gaps but are not necessarily well-known.

Caveat: we tend to fund smaller organizations who don’t have a big profile or the broad base of support that, for instance, the Cleveland Playhouse does – where our limited “donation power” can have a greater impact.
